Charles D. Davenport CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CRPC®, CRPS® is the Founder and Private Wealth Advisor for GO Strategic Advisory® PLLC and a phenomenal problem solver dedicated to providing Guidance Oriented solutions with a heart for service. Prior to establishing his own firm in 2018 Charles worked exclusively on Lincoln Financial Group retirement plans in the non-profit sector helping the everyday people of Austin toward financial independence.
With over 22 years of experience in the financial services arena Charles focuses on educating his clients first and foremost so that as their relationships grow his clients become more comfortable and confident in their decision making and ultimately their financial independence.
Charles is responsible for working with existing employer sponsored plans, business owners, physicians and individuals in need of a holistic approach to financial planning.
Charles earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and went on to earn the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designations from the College for Financial Planning. In addition, Charles earned-CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional certification (CFP®) in 2013 the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in 2016 and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) in 2020 from The American College in Brynn Mawr, PA. Charles holds the Series 7, and 66 securities registrations along with the Life & Health Insurance license. Charles brings a large basket of knowledge and experience to the table for his clients but most importantly he can relay this knowledge and cater it to each client understanding.
Outside of the office you may catch Charles spending time with family and friends, enjoying the hike and bike trails around town lake, out on a local golf course or attending live music. Charles and his wife Bonnie live in Southwest Austin with their 2 boys (Gage & Oliver) and their dog (Ziggy).
